Oxford, England

Oxford: to some, perhaps most, a place where many British prime ministers and famous writers were educated and one of the oldest universities in the world.  For The Peterson's, Oxford is where the sparks started flying and where we made some of our best friends in law school.

Gary and I spent 6 awesome weeks at Oxford through a summer study abroad program offered through the law school.  We all stayed in dorms and spent way too much time together.  Ate breakfast (or shall I say, we watched Hyun eat enough food to feed three large hippos), class, tea time,  class, lunch, got yelled at by some Brits (sign not big enough for ya, Gary?), dinner (fried meat + potatoes), College Bar, then repeat cycle.

We probably didn't do enough "touristy" things in Oxford because we lived there, and when you live somewhere, you often forget to take advantage of what is so close.  The most memorable "touristy" thing we did in Oxford was Christ's Church.

Look familiar?  If not, you must not be a Harry Potter fan.  They show this area, as well as some of the hallways, the staircase, the dining hall, and probably a few other locations in the movies.  Sort of cool to think that when we have kids that are old enough, we can tell them this is where we went on our first date :-)
